Deciding to get two dogs at once is a HUGE decision. Getting one dog alone is difficult enough, but two puppies at the same time?! Good luck to you.
Of course, you could just be adding a new dog to your current family. In any case, consider the choice with care. Having two dogs means you’ll have twice the amount of work - not to mention it’ll cost you a lot more too. Also consider your current pet - while some pets love being social and would love nothing more than a brother or sister, others are happier alone!
There is a lot of great stuff to be gained from owning two dogs though, and one of them is getting to pick matching names! So if you’re ready to take that step, here are our great ideas for pet pair names!

What do you name a pair of dogs?
Whichever names you decide to go for, make sure you’re choosing names that will be easy for your dogs to pick up on and recognise. Choose names that aren’t any longer than 2 syllables, and make sure the names don’t resemble each other too much. You’re going to want your dog to recognise their own name and not to confuse it with their siblings’ name.
So what do you think? What will you name your pair of pets?
