Can you imagine the face of this Husky and Weimaraner’s owner when he saw what the two dogs had done to his sofa? He must have been extremely surprised…

The dogs had gnawed a huge hole in the sofa, digging right through it! They damaged the entire cover and the sponge so the sofa is probably beyond renovation.

But they had an excellent reason to do so…

What got into their heads?

Well, when the owner approached the damaged couch, he realised what had happened. A cat was sitting inside, and probably could not get out and was meowing. The clever dogs decided to use their paws and teeth to help him.

We have to admit that they succeeded - the cat can now come out without any problems. Although the fact that he doesn't want to do this tells us that, unlike dogs, the cat knows that the owner will not be in a good mood when he sees how his sofa has been vandalised.

Still, you can't be mad at the dogs for wanting to help the cat, can you?

When taking in a Husky or Weimaraner, it's important to remember that they need to use their energy during walks and playtime, otherwise they will be inclined to activities we don't approve of.
