But the little kitten was not the only furry resident in the house.
Francisco also owns Molly, an adorable Pitbull mix.
How will she react?
Molly had never met a kitten before, but Francisco knew that if they were to live together, the cat and dog had to meet at some point. So he set up a camera to film the interaction and picked up the little kitten in his hands.
The video shows him slowly lowering the baby animal to Molly’s face. She starts to sniff the kitten with interest, her eyes widening and her tail wagging vigorously. Then, she starts bounding around the bed, jumping excitedly as if to say, “Oh boy, oh boy, can we keep him, Dad?!”
The importance of a proper meeting
It seems like it was love at first sight for these two! However, sometimes a good relationship takes a little more time to develop.
The important thing is to always supervise the first interactions to keep your animals safe and encourage their good behaviour. Francisco did this perfectly!
