It’s a shame that Pitbulls have such a bad reputation when they are, in fact, one of the most loyal and affectionate dogs in the world. Bella certainly proved that on this day.
On that day, Bella started barking at the door. So far, so normal. After all, Bella is a good guard dog.
A guardian angel
But something about her frenzied behaviour told her dad, David, that he’d better check it out. So, he went to the window to see what was happening.
And there he saw it: his elderly neighbour had fallen and couldn’t get back up. David rushed outside to help her up, and was relieved to see she wasn’t hurt.
Pitbull heroics
Thanks to Bella, the elderly lady was able to return home for the night. If it hadn’t been for her quick thinking, the elderly lady might not have been discovered by anyone until the next morning!
Now Bella is not just the neighbour’s dog. She’s the neighbourhood hero, and with good reason!
