Zola and Layla spent 9 years of their life with their owner. Heartbreakingly, circumstances beyond anyone's control mean they now need a new home.

Bonded Lhasa Apsos Layla and Zola have spent 8 years by each other's side.

Through life changes and the loss of their human family, they rely on each other for company and reassurance. And while adoptions of pairs of dogs are always more complicated, their rescuer knows splitting them up at this stage just isn't an option.

The sweetest pair

"These two sweet girls are hoping to find a calm, child-free home where they can relax and enjoy life" explains the team at Saving and Rehoming Strays in Ayr, Scotland.

Zola is gentle, affectionate and a little timid around unknown people. She can be a barker, but this soon settles down when she feels safe and understood.

Registered Lhasa Apso Layla is an absolute cuddle monster with a heart of gold. She's happiest on somebody's lap, or snuggling up next to her best friend Zola. She does find children a bit frightening, so she needs an adult only home.

Finding their forever family

"Both girls are well-behaved in boarding and thrive with attention, gentle structure, and regular walks. These two lovely companions deserve a peaceful home with plenty of love and care - in return, they’ll give you endless affection and loyalty" shared the rescue team.

Spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, they are patiently waiting for their future family to come forward.
