While some people may recoil at the idea of raising a puppy and a kitten together, Taylor from Melbourne, Australia, wasn’t fazed.
Taylor adopted an eight-week-old Golden Retriever named Freddie, and not long after, welcomed a nine-week-old kitten named Coco into her home.
A recipe for disaster? Not quite.
Freddie meets Coco
On 8 April, Taylor shared a TikTok video showing Freddie and Coco meeting for the first time and the heart-melting footage has taken the internet by storm.
From their very first interaction, the unlikely duo seemed utterly captivated by one another. Not only do they cuddle up together, but they also play and romp around like lifelong companions. It’s no surprise the adorable pair have racked up 2.8 million views.
Best friends
“We got Freddie at eight weeks old in December 2021, then adopted Coco at nine weeks old in March 2022. The two have been practically inseparable since the day we brought Coco home,” Taylor explains about this unusual but heart-warming friendship.
“They're both just as mad as each other,” she laughed. Now, the inseparable pair are spreading joy and smiles to pet lovers all over the world.
