A life of joy and service

Beth was a regular presence at royal engagements, known for her loyalty and charm. In 2022, she stole the show on For The Love Of Dogs, winning a loyalty trial against Paul O’Grady’s dog. Instead of getting distracted by treats and toys, she ran straight to her mum when called!

Beth also played a role in opening Battersea’s new kennels in 2020, unveiling a plaque with her characteristic enthusiasm. Her bond with Camilla was so strong that she, along with her fellow rescue dog Bluebell, was commemorated with goldwork embroidery on the Queen's coronation gown.

A difficult Christmas season

Tributes to Beth have poured into Buckingham Palace, with many recognising that loss can be particularly difficult to deal with during this time of year.

RIP, Beth.
