Game of fetch

In the viral video, PJ is seen persistently dropping a small stone at the feet of a statue of Richard Harris, famous for his role as Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films. PJ eagerly waits for the 'man' to throw the stone back, tapping the statue's foot in confusion when there is no response.

Ellie Byrne, PJ's owner, captured the amusing moment during a walk near her home. "PJ is obsessed with playing fetch and will try to play with anyone, even statues," Ellie said. "He finds the smallest leaf, pebble, or twig and drops it at people's feet for them to throw. This time, it happened to be a statue's feet."

Internet star

Ellie was taking a photo of the sea when she noticed PJ's antics. Known for their energy and playfulness, Springer Spaniels, like PJ, love long walks and chasing after objects. True to his breed, PJ enjoys playing fetch with anything he can find, preferring human interaction but not minding inanimate playmates.

The video quickly gained traction online, making PJ a local celebrity. Ellie shared the moment on social media, where it received an outpouring of affection and laughter. Now, everyone in town recognizes PJ, the spaniel who just wanted to play fetch with a statue.
