Captured in 2014, it shows a bride leaning out of a car to pet her family dog. The Shiba Inu eagerly reaches up to lick her nose.

The photographer, Allen Ko, explained that the bride was about to drive away, officially leaving the family home. Before she was out of sight, the dog quickly went in for a last goodbye.
An award-winning photo
The emotional shot was awarded the "World's Best Wedding Photo" in the "Family Affection Category". Proof that dogs really are part of the family, everywhere around the world.
