Joystick is a beautiful Bull Terrier, who spent 10 years devoted to his family.
But they repaid his love in the most shocking way imaginable, throwing him over the shelter gate in the middle of the night.
The most loving dog
When shelter staff at Azereix SPA, France, arrived on the morning of the 16th of March, they found Joystick confused and disoriented.
They quickly tracked down his owners through his microchip details, but they refused to take any responsiblilty for their four-legged friend.
The poor pup may be entering his golden years, but he hasn't lost his zest for life!
Despite his ordeal, Joystick still adores people, and he's always up for cuddles or a game with his caretakers.
A second chance at happiness
The loveable Bull Terrier has now been included in an adoption campaign created by animal welfare organisation 30 millions d'amis, which offers adopters of older dogs up to 800 euros towards veterinary fees.
The aim of the campaign is to help senior pets find their second chance at happiness.
Hopefully Joystick will soon be surrounded by all the love and care he needs, with a family who shows the same devotion as he will have for his humans.
