Blossom the Chocolate Lab was living by herself on the porch of an empty house. Neglected and covered in mange, her owners had likely moved away and left her there to fend for herself.
Rescued in the nick of time
Sick and depressed, Blossom had given up all hope of a happy life. But a kind woman noticed that she was alone and brought her food and water. She was able to get close enough to take a picture, and to send it to Woof Pet Rescue.
Without wasting any time, rescue staff drove to the location to save Blossom. They quickly took her back to the shelter where she was given emergency treatment and lots of love and attention.
An incredible transformation
Just a few weeks later, Blossom's transformation was nothing short of miraculous. She had not only survived, against all odds, but she was thriving! Her fur had grown back, and she had regained all the energy of a happy puppy!
Now Blossom can enjoy the life every dog should have. We're so happy for her!
