A cat's unusual facial markings have turned him into a social media sensation. They make him look like the feline version of the masked vigilant 'Zorro!'

'Boy' is one of Indrani Noor's many furry little friends. The proud cat dad owns five kitties in total. And, of course, he loves them all equally.

But one member of the family sticks out more than the others. And it's all because of his unique markings

The Zorro cat

Cute 'Boy' has a band of black fur around his eyes. Contrasted against his white face and coat, it looks like Boy is wearing a mask, just like the fictional character Zorro.

Zorro was created by American pulp writer Johnston McCulley in 1919. Zorro is a Spanish nobleman turned vigilante who has featured in books, magazines, TV shows, and movies. The character has been played by big Hollywood stars, including Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas.

But it's Boy's time to shine in the role now, which is why his dad set up a 'Zorro Cat' Instagram page. It has around 10K followers and features loads of cute posts showing 'Boy' doing what he does best: playing, hanging out with his cat buddies, snoozing, and doing the best Zorro impression ever!

But TikTok is where 'Boy' is really popping off. His account has 300k followers, and his videos have racked up over 3 million views.

Despite his newfound social media fame and one-in-a-million looks, Boy is just like any other cat; he hasn't let the spotlight go to his head.

"I don't think 'Boy' knows how special he is," said Noor. "And he's still no different from a regular cat. He always wants to be petted, cuddled, and held. He likes to play a lot, and he hates his weekly bath."

Now there's two Zorro cats

Boy recently welcomed his first litter of kittens into the world. And yes, one of them has the exact same facial markings as his dad. In fact, he's Boy's very own 'mini-me.'

Indrani decided to keep the little furball. How could he not? He considered naming him 'Baby Zorro' but opted for Bandit instead.
