A bride carried her blind rescue pup down the aisle! And he wasn't the only furry little guy to get an invite to what guests called the most 'paw-some' wedding of the year!

When Samantha Kelly from Louth, Ireland, began planning her dream wedding, one item immediately took precedence on the to-do list.

And that was how she could make sure her dogs were part of the big day!

Dogs are our family

After all, they're part of Samantha's family, and so they had to be there!

So Samantha ditched the flowers and decided to carry her blind, rescue pooch Papillon down the aisle instead.

Then it was time for another special little dog to make an appearance. His name is Pat, and the 12-year-old Jack Russell melted everyone's hearts as he rolled down the aisle in his doggy wheelchair and tuxedo!

Samantha's other special-needs rescue pups were also there to celebrate the occasion. They included a pair of Pomeranians named Bonnie and Jesse, a 3-year-old Staffordshire Terrier (Staffie) named Barney, and another gorgeous pup who goes by the name Toby.

Mr and Mrs Doolittle!

And the furry gang made quite the impression on the wedding party. One posted:

"Hands down the best wedding…..congrats and thank you for rescuing all your beautiful pups."

Samantha and her husband are now enjoying married life back at their home in the Irish countryside, where they also care for five rescue sheep and three chickens.
