A white and ginger tabby has become an internet sensation after being caught on video performing what can only be described as a flawless moonwalk.
Feline of pop
The clip shows the feline standing at the entrance of a shop, when suddenly it begins sliding its paws in reverse, almost effortlessly gliding in place. It’s the kind of move that would make even the King of Pop proud.
To make the moment even better, the video has been set to Michael Jackson’s iconic hit Billie Jean. With the beat perfectly synced, the cat's slick moves look less like a stumble and more like a deliberate dance routine.
Moonwalking cat
At one point, a passer-by briefly interrupts the moment, but as soon as the coast is clear, the cat picks up where it left off, strutting to its own invisible rhythm.
No one knows whether this feline is a born performer or just slipped on something invisible. But one thing’s certain: this little moonwalker has got serious moves and the internet can’t get enough.
