She rescues abandoned dogs from the streets and finds them their forever homes.

In grave danger
The puppy was sniffing through the rubbish amidst heavy machinery. The person sent Tia a video message to show just how urgent and dangerous the situation was. The footage was shocking. It showed a tiny puppy scavenging for scraps of food among the waste, as an excavator drew closer and closer...
Tia and her partner rushed to save the puppy. To their great surprise, they found not one, but four abandoned puppies at the site. The area where they were living was extremely hazardous. Not only could the little ones ingest toxic substances, but they were also at constant risk of being crushed by the excavators.
An urgent rescue
Tia managed to catch three of the puppies and placed them together in a carrier. Unfortunately, the fourth puppy ran for cover under a machine and wouldn't let anyone near. So, Tia and her partner took the three puppies to the vet before going back for the last one.
When Tia returned to the landfill, the workers had started burning the rubbish, and the air was thick with smoke. Fortunately, on her second attempt, Tia quickly managed to catch the fourth puppy, whom she named Christina.
All the puppies were examined. It turned out that the first three were from the same litter, but Christina, the last one, was not. She had been watching over the litter and taking care of them, even though she was barely any older herself. The good news is that all the puppies have now been adopted. They are all doing well and enjoying their new forever homes!
