They stopped in front of a house. When the homeowner noticed the dogs, she approached them.
Adonis and Titan immediately headed inside the house. They were starving and very weak.
They need help
It didn't take long before the lady realised just how much the dogs relied on each other.
Adonis is thought to be around 9 or 10 years old. He's blind and is believed to be Titan's father. Titan, who is nearly 3 years old, was helping his father survive as best he could and stayed faithfully by his side. Rescuers from a local animal shelter arrived shortly afterwards to collect the dogs.
They're inseparable
Unfortunately, the shelter didn't have enough space to take in Adonis and Titan, so Blind Dog Rescue Alliance (BDRA) offered to help find them a foster home.
The two dogs love each other dearly. They often sleep together in the same (very large) dog bed. BDRA knew they would thrive in a foster home as long as they were together.
Placed in foster care
Fortunately, the rescue found the ideal foster family for them. Jennifer Hill welcomed the boys with open arms and they were delighted to join their new family.
Adonis and Titan have been through difficult times, but they bear no grudges. They're thriving in their new environment with their foster mum.
Now that the dogs are living in a warm and loving home, they'll never again feel that anxiety of having only each other to rely on.
We wish them all the best for the future.
