Who hasn't felt anxious when their pet stops eating? Recently, the owner of a Chihuahua shared her amusing adventure with her dog who was refusing to eat.
As she recounts in a Reddit post, her little nine-month-old puppy wasn't eating anything. Even though he was still active, he was vomiting after drinking water and showing little interest in treats.
"He's simply fussy"
This strange behaviour prompted the owner to head to the vet. Once there, after an examination, the vet quickly reassured the Chihuahua's owner. Everything was fine with her pooch—he was simply fussy about his food.
A diagnosis that cost his owner hundreds of dollars. A story that brought back many memories for internet users: "My Chihuahua is the same. My cupboard is full of all sorts of kibble that she eats for a short while, but then refuses. She'll eat if I pretend to eat from my plate, but sometimes she catches on and stops. Having a fussy dog is so exhausting."
