But that was more than enough time for their dog Gemma, a Labrador Retriever cross, to decide to go on a little adventure of her own...
A special delivery
While Gemma was home alone, an Amazon driver arrived to drop off a parcel. Gemma went to greet him at the door, poking her head out to watch him leave the package.
The driver took a photo as proof of delivery, and Gemma’s little head can be seen peeking into the shot. The dog didn't take the opportunity to escape through the open door. Instead, she simply came to the entrance to make sure the delivery went smoothly!
A hilarious surprise
When Adrienne and her husband saw the photo, they couldn't stop laughing for a full 10 minutes. They hoped Gemma's little appearance had made the delivery driver smile too! Adrienne shared the picture on the social media platform Threads.
