Born with a twisted muzzle that does not affect his health, a lovely dog named Benji is struggling to find a home in the USA.
“Benji has a unique dental malocclusion. Basically, his jaw is misaligned,” wrote Colorado Puppy Rescue (CPR). “In other words, it makes him even more adorable.”
While facial deformities can sometimes put off potential adopters, his carers are keen to remind everyone that this puppy leads a completely normal life.

Benji eats, plays, enjoys the company of other dogs, and interacts with people without any trouble at all. Vet checks have also confirmed that his condition does not require any major surgery, and he is not in any pain.

While he waits for a permanent home, little Benji is being looked after by foster families. His carers are convinced he will continue to thrive once he is adopted.
“And thanks to his unique look, his sweet nature, his eagerness to please, and his love for people, his foster families think Benji could even become an incredible therapy dog one day,” the rescue organisation added.
