Chewy, a beautiful Newfoundland, had spent the morning watching the suitcases being packed and his sadness was clear.

His owner, Amy Savino, shared that the dog was unable to contain his disappointment and took to lying down on the porch while waiting for his family to leave.
Chewy was clearly not impressed that he wasn’t included in the youngsters’ holiday plans.
A video shared on TikTok shows a car pulling away from the house with one of the kids waving goodbye to Chewy. As the car disappears from view, Chewy looks incredibly downcast.
Holiday plans for Chewy
According to Amy, it’s as if Chewy thinks the children in the family are his children, so watching them leave without him left him heartbroken.
But despite his heartache at being left behind, Chewy won’t miss out on the holiday fun. Amy has some fun activities planned for the dog, including a beach holiday where he can indulge his love of boating and swimming.
