It's the eternal question in the dog owner universe: Should my dog be allowed on the couch? Martin Rütter now has a clear answer on his Instagram profile: Yes! In his latest photo, the 48-year-old can be seen cuddling up on the sofa with his dog Emma.
Rütter calms critics with a bit of humour in his caption: "Emma isn't actually lying on the couch, she's lying on ME."
And because his fans are mainly dog owners who are probably sick of the tiresome discussion themselves, there is a lot of encouragement. One user commented: "Dogs are like my family. And I don't say 'You don't belong on the couch' to my family."
