A new luxury airline catering exclusively to dogs and their humans is about to be launched.

The airline promises a lavish travel experience for your canine companion.

Luxury flights for Fido

Operating between White Plains, New York, Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, and Stansted Airport in London, Bark Air ensures that dogs and their owners can jet-set together in style.

Partnering with private jet charter company Talon Air, Bark Air guarantees top-notch service from takeoff to landing.

The airline boasts a dedicated concierge team focused on the comfort of both dogs and humans, offering pre-boarding socialisation sessions and in-flight entertainment tailored to canine interests.

Premium travel experience (and dog treats)

With amenities like lie-flat beds, in-flight treats, and even the promise of an in-air dog park on the horizon, Bark Air aims to redefine luxury travel for pets. However, this premium experience comes at a hefty price, with one-way flights starting at $6,000 between Los Angeles and New York and $8,000 between London and New York.

Despite the cost and certain restrictions (passengers must be over 18 and some breeds are not accepted), Bark Air expects high demand once it starts to take bookings.

Are you tempted to treat your pup to luxury travel?
