Purina's Unleashed is an accelerator programme that identifies and supports start-ups that aim to improve the lives of pets and the people who love and care for them.

The Purina Accelerator Lab is dedicated to exploring the latest trends and opportunities in the pet care sector.
Since its inception in 2019, the programme has successfully launched 25 startups specialising in pet care. With more than 800 applications from 50 countries, it has shed light on some incredible projects.
Fifth edition
In its fifth edition (2024), Purina has expanded its reach to new countries such as Brazil and Mexico. The deadline for applications was October 15th and the selected startups will be announced this November.
The programme offers selected startups access to a range of resources and benefits, including:
- Mentoring from Purina experts
- Access to an intensive training programme
- Investment opportunities
- Visibility and media exposure
- Access to a global network of partners and potential customers
- Opportunity to collaborate with Purina on a variety of projects
Unleashed Pet Tech Meet Up
Last March, a group of pet care entrepreneurs had the opportunity to meet potential investors at a meet-up in Linz (Austria). The event, which is part of the Pet Tech Meet-Up series within the Unleashed programme, was a great success.
The aim of these Pet Tech Meet-Ups is to connect start-ups with investors in the pet care industry in order to foster innovation in the sector.
The last event of the year will be held in Paris, with the assistance of Attila Balogh, Five Seasons Ventures, JamJar Investments, Verlinvest, IRIS Ventures and Isabelle Taillandier.
Wamiz: co-organiser of the event
Wamiz, Europe's leading pet website, is one of the event organisers, together with La Meute (The Pack) and Emprunte Mon Toutou.
