Daisy isn't the young pup she once was. At 13 years old, she's well into her golden years.
But there's one part of the day when she forgets the aches and pains of old age and transforms into a puppy again. And that's when Dad comes home from work.
Daisy patiently waits
Daisy always waits up to greet Dad with dog cuddles and kisses, even if he's been working the late shift. It doesn't matter what time Dad comes home; Daisy will be anxiously sitting on the front porch. It's the best part of her day.
Daisy's dog-mum shared one of these adorable reunions on TikTok. The clip shows the OAP pup standing at attention in the garage, ears pricked and tail wagging with excitement. She knows Dad will be appearing in the driveway any second.
But it's late, and old Daisy is tired. At one point, her back legs start to shake and wobble. But she isn't going anywhere until she sees Dad's car come up the driveway.
So Daisy's mum offers her a little extra support by holding up her back legs. It's so sweet.
Dad finally arrives, and Daisy lets out a few big barks. "It's OK, mum," she's saying. "You can let me go now."
True love
Daisy then trots over to Dad as fast as she can and welcomes him home in that special way dogs do. Is there anything as pure as the love we get from our pets?
"That's true love," wrote one viewer. "What could ever top that welcome home?"
The answer to that question is nothing. Absolutely nothing.
