Sylvester Stallone is a big dog lover and had his heart set on getting a Rottweiler called Dwight for protection. His wife had other ideas.

According to reports, the actor's desire to get the dog was the final straw for his wife, Jennifer. The argument over the dog allegedly resulted in a heated argument that brought up other issues in the couple's marriage.
It's also rumoured that Stallone had a tattoo of Jennifer covered up with an inking of his dog Butkus, a Bullmastiff who starred in Rocky and its sequel with the actor.

However, Stallone has denied the claims saying he simply wanted to freshen up his tattoo of Jennifer, but it went wrong, so he covered it up with a portrait of the dog. He still has another tattoo of Jennifer on his back.
The Expendables and Rocky actor disputes claims that his marriage with Jennifer, with whom he shares three daughters, ended over a dog. But he did admit that the couple disagreed over how to care for it as they live in two homes and travel a lot.
