RSPCA staff find mystery dog at their facility: CCTV reveals the terrible truth

The RSPCA staff has seen all sorts of strange situations over the years. But discovering a dog they don't know as they come to work in the morning has got to come out on top.

Last Sunday, RSPCA Hull staff arrived at their facility only to see a dog in one of their pens who was not, in fact, theirs.

A sad discovery

The staff immediately started some light detective work and looked through some CCTV footage. And what they had feared most was confirmed: The poor dog had been abandoned by his owner.

Indeed, the video footage showed a man pushing the dog over the RSPCA’s perimeter wall. After the man left, the dog, later named Mac, tried so hard to follow his beloved owner that he got caught in some barbed wire.

Hoping for a better tomorrow

Thankfully, Mac is now in good hands. He’s being assessed by the RSPCA staff who hope he will soon find a perfect forever home.

He looks to be an older German Shepherd mix, but this has yet to be confirmed by his carers. If you think you’d be interested in giving him a loving home, keep an eye on their website and social media for more news!
