The poor Pittie had been tied to the bench and left there to fend for herself. What’s worse, she was blind, so completely helpless.
She was skinny, dehydrated, and desperately in need of some TLC. The woman immediately took the dog under her wing and drove her to a nearby shelter.
Dog with the best attitude
Poly, as she was later named, soon became everyone’s favourite at the shelter due to her happy-go-lucky personality.
It was later discovered that she had once been used as a breeding female in a puppy farm, but that didn’t stop her from being incredibly loving to every human she met.
Spoiled rescue
When she went to live with her foster family, she was spoiled rotten! She was regularly fed burgers and chicken nuggets (both to help with her weight gain and her personal pleasure, of course) – and was showered with love.
Unfortunately, Poly passed a few months after her rescue. Despite this, we’re so glad the last months of her life were filled with so much joy and love. She absolutely deserved it. Run free over the rainbow bridge, sweet girl!
