Unable to find the fox's parents, Sarah took him home and began researching local fox rescues. Remarkably, once inside her home, the fox immediately stopped crying, explored the living room, and settled into her dog’s bed, where he quickly fell asleep.

Sarah shared the heartwarming story on X and it quickly went viral. She contacted the Fox Angels Foundation, whose rescuers confirmed the little fox was only five weeks old. They assured her he would be placed in a safe environment with other young rescue foxes.

Happy ending

Thanks to Sarah's quick thinking and compassion, the baby fox is now in good hands, ensuring a hopeful future for the little creature.

While caring for a baby fox was the last thing she’d expected to be doing that day, she was glad she could make a difference in the fox’s life. We are sure it’s an experience Sarah will never forget.
