A mask designed for animals

The cats were dazed from smoke inhalation, so the firefighters immediately gave them oxygen using a special animal mask.

In a video shared on Facebook, one of the cats, a small kitten, can be seen being held by a firefighter while receiving first aid.

A happy ending for the pair

Today, the cats are recovering well and are staying with a foster family until their owner can find a new home.
