Haru the miniature cow never really fitted in. Much smaller than the other cattle in her herd, she wasn't accepted and spent a great deal of time alone.
But one encounter changed everything in her life. An encounter like no other, with some truly exceptional beings.
A cow amongst dogs
Amber Sullivan-Vo and her husband Anthony decided to adopt Haru after seeing an advert on a classifieds website. The couple understood the miniature cow's distress and decided to give her a fresh start. Their only concern was whether Haru would get along with their 9 dogs.
Fortunately, the suspense was short-lived, as Haru got on with the dogs in the family pack straight away. Even better, she started behaving just like them. And on the dogs' side, it's the same story! They all consider the little cow as one of their own. Especially as Haru is always careful not to be too rough with her furry companions so as not to hurt them.
