Mandy's mum had been rescued from an abandoned pub along with 20 other cats. All the cats were taken in by the RSPCA.
Fortunately, Mandy's mother had given birth at the rescue centre, so the rescuers were able to step in and bottle-feed the kitten.
A grey kitten...
The tiny kitten was minuscule and fragile. She needed bottles very regularly and required round-the-clock monitoring. One of the rescue centre's volunteers decided to foster the kitten at her home.
It turned out that Mandy was suffering from a fever, which explained the silvery colour of her coat and probably the reason why her mother couldn't care for her. As the silvery colour gradually faded, Mandy's true fur colour finally emerged...
Who becomes a black cat!
Mandy transformed into a beautiful black cat with a silky coat. Another RSPCA employee fell in love with the cat and decided to adopt her just in time for Halloween.
Today, Mandy is thriving and loves her new life. She's very playful and her family adores her. The rescuers will never forget her spectacular transformation and all wish her the very best for life!
