Mother-of-five Stacey Solomon updated worried fans, after sharing the news that her beloved pup required emergency surgery.
Sweet Cocker Spaniel Teddy collapsed on Good Friday, losing the use of both his back legs.

"It turns out he has a predisposed condition we had no idea about as he was a rescue. He has been operated on by incredible vets and the next 3-4 days are crucial for him to get through, even then, he might not ever fully recover", she explained on Instagram.
Vets suspected a tumour, meningitis or a slipped disc may have caused the dog's sudden collapse, but an MRI scan revealed a burst disc was to blame.

"We are all truly devastated. He is the sweetest, most protective, loving dog. He’s our family", Stacey told her fans.
"Sorry I haven't been on here. I've just been trying to get my head around things. I've cried a lot. So I've just tried to keep myself away from any human contact, so I can just cry alone".
Teddy made it through the delicate operation successfully, and he's now back at home recovering. Heartbreakingly, his future remains uncertain, but Stacey and her family are doing all they can to give him the best chance at a long and happy life by their side.
