Grazyna Rogowska filmed the scene, which shows the black and white kitten being spun around by his hind legs.
Kasper can be heard wailing, while his owner laughs in the background.
Kasper's rescue
Shocked viewers have called for justice for Kasper, who has since been taken in by a rescue group.
The kitten had traces of something on his fur, which they suspect may be glue. They also believe his fur was trimmed using scissors.
A cruel act
Grazyna is now facing up to five years in jail. She argues she is the victim, having been inundated with comments and hate mail.
"I said it was fun. My daughter is now crying so much she won't eat. I hope justice catches up with you because she will have trauma because of you", she commented on TikTok.
"She will have a lifelong lesson on how not to treat animals", commented a viewer.
A police spokesperson explained they are currently investigating reports of threats against a woman and a child. In the meantime, Kasper is recuperating in safe hands.
"Our entire shelter team will do everything to ensure Kacperek regains peace, health and sense of security", wrote the rescue caring for him.
