What is it like to spend over a decade in chains? It’s difficult to imagine.
Sadly, until recently, this was the reality for an elderly dog we named Jumper.
11 years in chains
For his entire life, this sweet old dog was tethered. He never went for walks and never knew the joy of running freely on grass.
His sorrowful gaze spoke of a dog who had long since accepted his tragic fate. Kept on a short chain, confined to a dilapidated kennel in a remote spot, Jumper lived a life of neglect.
Friendly and affectionate
Fed only table scraps; he often had no water in his bowl. Yet, despite everything, he remained a friendly and affectionate dog, longing for love and attention.
We can only hope that he has now found a caring home where he can finally spend his remaining years in comfort and peace.
