A little black dog from Puerto Rico has shown everyone the value of true friendship, patiently helping a toddler as he practiced walking.
Calm and steady, he knew exactly how to look out for his human brother.
A boy's best friend
The clip begins as the toddler takes a few wobbly steps along the sand. And as soon as he moves, his furry best friend is right there with him.
As if he were a shadow, the sweet-natured dog times his steps perfectly, offering his body as support.
At one point, it looks as if the toddler is about to fall, but the dog cleverly positions himself in front of the little boy.
The cutest pair

The clip has now been viewed over 900,000 times, with dog lovers commenting on the beautiful bond between the pair.
