Real or fake?
However, some viewers questioned the authenticity of the video. "Unfortunately, it's AI. The plastic thing on the boxes behind him gives it away," one person noted on X, while another pointed out odd movements in the background.
These suspicions turned out to be accurate. The video's creator, Manchester-based artist Numan Khan, originally posted the clip on Instagram with hashtags such as #aiart and #aiartcommunity, confirming that the cat was AI-generated.

While this specific Maine Coon is not real, the breed is indeed known for its large size.
