It's no secret that many Labradors love water, often diving into the nearest puddle they can find.
This is most likely the result of their origins, which date back to the 19th Century on the Canadian coast.
As a true example of his breed, black Labrador Schootle loves the beach more than anything.

It only takes seconds for the excited pup to react to the word beach, at which he immediately bounds off the sofa and heads for the door.
He's so quick in fact, that his human doesn't even have time to finish her sentence. "I haven't finished", she exclaims. But Schootle is having none of it. There's only one place he wants to be, and it most certainly isn't the sofa!

The clip has now been viewed over 400,000 times, with thousands left smiling after watching the pup's antics.
"He was already halfway to the beach", commented a bemused viewer. "You better have taken him to the beach after this", wrote another.
