Brady Oliveira and Alex Blumberg help those in need, always going the extra mile to ensure the safety of lost and stray dogs.
So when they were contacted about a stray black dog who seemed to be stuck under a house, they immediately agreed to help.
Protecting something very precious
When the couple arrived they realised the mother dog wasn't actually stuck at all - she was protecting a litter of tiny puppies, who she had carefully hidden away under the house.
"We're going to get your pups for you. It's okay", Brady can be heard telling the mother dog as Alex starts crawling into the space to retrieve the black and white puppies.
"You're a good mom", she reassures the terrified stray, showing her that her babies are now safe.
New beginnings
Reunited in their car, the devoted couple decided to take the little family to K9 Advocacy Manitoba, where they will be cared for by staff and volunteers until they're ready to find their forever homes.
Thanks to the dedication of these two dog lovers, they will grow up safe and loved with families of their own.
