Lifesaver Max
Max is Tina's beloved German Shepherd, who is trained to help her during a seizure.
The video Tina shared on TikTok was supposed to demonstrate a training session. But Max would repeatedly jump onto the kitchen work surface next to where Tina was washing up. Tina kept telling him to get down, but Max was persistent.

Suddenly, Tina drops to the floor, but fortunately, Max is there to break her fall and create a big soft barrier between her and the floor so she doesn't hurt herself when she has seizures.
Seizure dogs like Max are trained to warn their owners when a seizure is about to happen, so they have a chance to get to a safe place. The dogs are also trained to put their body between the owner and the floor. This is to break their owner's fall and provide a barrier next to them so they don't hurt themselves, as you can see in the clip.

It's believed that dogs can detect a certain smell released by the body before a seizure occurs, which humans can't.
