Lady Sadie: female dog to adopt

Published on : 27/05/2026

Sadie has sadly found herself back in our care through no fault of her own. She is an incredibly loving girl who enjoys greeting everyone she meets and thrives on human company. She can be nervous in new surroundings, so she is looking for a patient and understanding home that can continue building her confidence and help socialise her with new places and experiences. Due to a difficult past involving neglect and a poor start in life, recent changes have understandably left Sadie feeling confused and unsettled. Sadie struggles being left alone and does suffer with separation anxiety, so she would suit a home where someone is around for most of the day, or a family who can include her in their daily adventures. We believe having a calm male dog in the home could really benefit Sadie and help build her confidence. When Sadie becomes excited, she can be a little bouncy, so we would recommend a home with older children who are confident around dogs. With the right people, time, and reassurance, Sadie will make a wonderfully loyal and affectionate companion.
