Poppy has sadly found herself back with us in kennels due to her owner no longer being able to cope with her reactivity. She is a lovely young girl who can be a bit barky with strangers but is the biggest baby once she knows you. She is energetic so will need an active home with a secure garden of her own where she can run around off lead. Poppy had originally come into us from the pound so we don't have any history on her prior to that. She is a very nervous girl and we believe she had received little to no socialising or training before coming into us. Because of this she will need patient and understanding owners who will have the time to socialise her and help her overcome her fears. She is a playful girl who enjoys a game of ball and is often seen carrying a toy or blanket. Poppy is a big girl and can pull on the lead at times so will need a strong owner who can handle this. She can be reactive to strangers and other animals when out so will need slow socialising and some training. Poppy will need to be the only dog in the home for now. No cats or small furries.
