Lucky’s story is one that could have ended in tragedy — but somehow this brave little boy refused to give up.

 He was found after being attacked by other dogs and left for dead, with devastating injuries to his throat. Thankfully, he was rescued in time and spent a long period receiving veterinary care and recovering from his ordeal. Despite everything he has been through, Lucky has remained the sweetest little soul. During his recovery he lived in foster care, where he became wonderfully sociable with dogs, cats, and people. He has shown everyone around him just how resilient and loving he truly is. Lucky is now ready to leave his past behind and find a forever family of his own.

Because of his previous injuries, Lucky must wear a harness rather than a collar to keep pressure away from his throat area. He also does best on a good quality wet-food diet.
