Little Lilly has already experienced more sadness and fear in her short life than any puppy ever should.
Born to a family who quickly gave her away, Lilly ended up living in a house with no electricity or basic facilities. She was kept tied up outside in the yard with a chain around her neck. One day, someone heard desperate screaming and contacted our rescuer, who arrived to find poor Lilly tangled around a tree and almost hanging herself. Thankfully, Lilly was rescued and brought to safety. Although she was understandably traumatised and shy at first, by the very next day her sweet nature began to shine through.
She was lovely with the little girl in the house and slowly started learning that people could be kind.
When Lilly arrived with us in Ayr, she was nervous again after the long journey, but since settling into our puppy creche area she has come on beautifully.
She now enjoys gentle fuss, allows herself to be picked up, and happily goes into her crate for meals.
Lilly is absolutely tiny — truly the size of a rabbit — and she was born without a tail, which only adds to her uniqueness and charm.

Lilly can become more timid around dominant dogs, so any resident dog would need to be gentle and respectful.
She hasn’t started lead training yet, so her family will need to take things slowly and positively.
This precious little girl has been through so much, but despite everything she remains gentle, loving, and eager to trust. With patience and kindness, Lilly is going to make someone an incredibly special companion.
