John: male dog to adopt

Published on : 11/05/2026

John originally came to Last Chance from the Welsh pound, so there is little history for him and cannot live with children. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances he has found his way back to us. His previous owners have tried to work with John to overcome his dog reactivity, pulling on lead and to help with his anxiety. Unfortunately, he still dislikes other dogs and so will need to be the only pet in the property but has improved massively with lead walking. He still has some anxiety and will find comfort in his blanket and will often carry it around with him. This is John's favourite time of year and would love to find a home with a garden that he can spend his time sunbathing in, so if you're interested then please come and meet him at our New Romney branch.
