Melwood originally came into us due to his owners declining health. He is finding kennel life stressful as he misses his one on one companionship. He is a very happy chap and is friendly with all the volunteers at the centre and is loving going for his long walks. Melwood loves his toys, the squeakier the better and will play for hours, however he does have guarding issues around his toys and food, so would need a understanding owner to help him through this. Melwood is best suited to a one person home as this is all he has ever known and having more people in the home overstimulates him and he becomes very stressed and snappy. He is good with dogs out and about but is best suited to being the only pet in the home. Please come into our Edenbridge centre for more information.
