Back in 2016, Andie, a black and white Pittie puppy, was living in dire conditions.
No luck in life
The tiny 10-week-old puppy was living amid piles of junk and trash and was tethered to a cinder block by a heavy logging chain that weighed more than she did.
The chain was so heavy that she couldn't move. She wasn't able to escape the heat. She developed mange, a painful skin condition. And she was becoming just skin and bones. She called and called for help, but no-one listened. No-one cared.
Rescued in the nick of time
That is, until PETA stepped in! When they heard about the puppy's ordeal, they went to pick her up as soon as they could. After lots of tender loving care, the puppy made an incredible transformation.
Today, she's a happy and healthy dog living her best life with her human and feline family! Nothing makes her happier than playing with her favourite alligator toy and cuddling up on the sofa with her paw-rents.
From rags to riches, this pup truly made an incredible come-back!
