Kate Middleton and Prince William visited Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire just last week to discuss the pandemic.
But the Cambridges’ attention was soon diverted to a “third wheel” – a 10-week-old Cockapoo named Alfie.
Therapy Cockapoo
Alfie is currently being trained to become a therapy dog for the patients at the hospital. Though he’s still very young, he’s clearly very good at his future job already, judging by the smile on everyone’s faces!
In fact, Kate Middleton couldn’t resist picking up the tiny pup and holding him in her arms. As she cuddled him close, she said,
Sharing is caring
Of course, Prince William soon got jealous of all the attention Kate was getting from the adorable pup, and ask to hold him next. The pup took a shining to William and gave him several little kisses on the cheek.
Being dog lovers and owners themselves, the Cambridges were delighted to have met little Alfie during their visit.
A day when you see a dog is always a good day, in our opinion!
