Desperate plea

His owner took to social media, pleading for help to locate her elderly, timid dog. The post, shared millions of times, described Kratos as gentle and wearing a tag with contact details.

The DANA floods devastated areas like Turís, recording 784 litres of rain in 24 hours. Search efforts were hampered by poor communications and blocked access. Days of uncertainty ended on 3 November when Kratos was finally found and reunited with his family.

Emotional reunion

In a video shared online, Kratos recognises his family immediately, placing his paw on the gate before being embraced by his tearful owner. The moment encapsulated the relief and deep bond between them.

In a similar story, a cat named Nico returned home after being missing for two days. His emotional reaction, clinging to his owner, highlighted the enduring connection between pets and their humans, providing a moment of light after the chaos of the floods.

Welcome home Kratos!
