A video has recently gone viral on TikTok that has left both cat and reptile lovers in stitches.
Cat and bearded dragon nap together
The video showed a cat napping inside a bearded dragon’s terrarium. Now, that’s not something you see every day!
While one could imagine that the cat simply loves the lizard’s company, the truth is that cats love the heat. And since the bearded dragon has the nicest heating lamp in his terrarium, it’s no wonder that his kitty sibling wants to make the most of it, too.
Cat is not always welcome
While Cena the lizard is quite happy to share her home occasionally, she sometimes prefers to have her own space. In a later video posted on the same TikTok account, the cat is seen trying to enter the terrarium and being met with some defensiveness on the lizard’s side. In fact, the video was captioned: “Cena was not having it today”. Ah, well, we all have bad days.
Overall, though, it seems like these two have a pretty good relationship, but maybe the cat should wait to be invited next time!
