Titan is as big as he sounds. In fact, you could say the 13-year-old Doberman looks a little bit imposing. But this giant pooch proved he's a softie at heart after he had an adorable encounter with a tiny winged visitor.
The orange butterfly decided to introduce itself to Titan while the pooch was chilling in the back garden with his dog-mum last week. She caught their meeting on camera and shared the video on social media.
A brave butterfly
It shows the butterfly dancing and hovering around Titan's head, occasionally landing on the tip of his nose. At first, Titan doesn't seem too impressed with this brightly coloured nuisance. He even snaps at it a few times, forcing Titan's mum to remind her big baby boy to play nicely!
"Titan be good," says the owner. "Don't bite the butterfly."
A fleeting friendship
But the butterfly isn't deterred. Instead, It continues to try and play with the jumbo-sized canine. Then as Titan become more familiar with the butterfly, he stops trying to bite and lets the insect rest peacefully on his nose. "You've got a new best friend," gushes Titan's owner.
The butterfly left shortly after, and we're not sure if the pair have decided to stay in touch. Either way, this was definitely one of the more unusual animal encounters.
